MARINERO

Fotografía tomada en South Street Seaport , New York, el día 11 de enero a las 1304hs.

"So if we all come together, we know what to do
we all come together, just to sing we love you
and if we all come together, we know what to do
we all come together just for you

racing all around the seven seas
chasing all the girls and making robberies
'causing panic everywhere they go
party-hardy on titanic

sailing, sailing, jumping off the railing
drinking, drinking, 'till the ship is sinking
gambling, stealing, lots of sex-appealing
come, let us sing the sailor-song

so if we all come together, we know what to do
we all come together, just to sing we love you
and if we all come together, we know what to do
we all come together just for you

sailorman, you really turn me on
now the guys are gone, come let us get it on
girls like me are pretty hard to find
so if you go, i'll kick your heine

sailing, sailing, jumping off the railing
drinking, drinking, 'till the ship is sinking
gambling, stealing, lots of sex-appealing
come, let us sing the sailor-song

so if we all come together, we know what to do
we all come together, just to sing we love you
and if we all come together, we know what to do
we all come together just for you

now, let's fight!
ha, that's not a knife, this is a knife!

i'm king of the world!
wow, this was great!
yeah, baby, you can sail my ship!"

BROOKLYN BRIDGE

Fotografía tomada en South Street Seaport , New York, el día 10 de enero a las 1156hs.

"Like the folks you meet on
Like to plant my feet on the Brooklyn Bridge
What a lovely view from
Heaven looks at you from the Brooklyn Bridge

I love to listen to the wind through her strings
The song that she sings for the town
I love to look up at the clouds in her hair
She's learned to wear like a crown

If you've been a rover
Journey's end lies over the Brooklyn Bridge
Don't let no one tell you
I've been tryin' to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge

All the folks in Manhattan are sad
'cause they look at her and wish they had
The good old Brooklyn Bridge

If you've been a rover
Journey's end lies over the Brooklyn Bridge
Don't let no one tell you
I've been tryin' to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge

You'll miss her most when you roam
`cause you'll think of her and think of home
The good old Brooklyn Bridge"

SEAPORT STREET

Fotografía tomada en South Street Seaport , New York, el día 10 de enero a las 1149hs.

"I tell you every street's a boulevard in Old New York
Every street's a highway of your dreams
It's a thrill to shop on 34th Street

Or down in Union Square we like the people you meet
On Mulberry Street, have you ever been there

So keep smiling and you'll never wear a frown
Just remember there's an East Side
And the West Aide and Uptown and Down
That's why we're proud to be a part of New York Town

34th Street
Union Square
Mulberry Street
Have you ever been there

Streets are paved with happiness in Old New York
We're glad that we're a part of it, we're happy that we came
Each sidewalk is a concrete path to fame

Just remember there's an East Side
And the West Aide and Uptown and Down
In this great big metropolis known as New York Town"

IMPRENTA

Joan Manuel Serrat
