DESCUBRIMIENTO DEL MONUMENTO A CABRAL EN GRANADEROS

El pasado martes 19 de diciembre se realizó la ceremonia de descubrimiento del Monumento al Sargento Cabral en los jardines del histórico Cuartel de Palermo.

Pasadas las 1915hs se dio inicio a la ceremonia de descubrimiento con el arribo del Jefe del Regimiento, Coronel Oscar Armanelli al Jardín Histórico.

Luego de la invocación religiosa de la mano del Capellán Padre Sergio Vera, se procedió al descubrimiento de la flamante estatua de la mano del Segundo Jefe, Teniente Coronel Mariano Luccon y el Encargado de la Unidad, Suboficial Mayor Edgardo Rios.

Acto seguido se procedió al descubrimiento de la placa de los Oficiales que revistaron durante 2017 en esta histórica Unidad la cual se encontraba al pie de la estatua.

Como es tradición se realizó la invocación al Sargento Juan Bautista Cabral y el Jefe del Regimiento ofreció unas palabras en homenaje al héroe correntino que ofreciera su vida en defensa del Libertador.

Para finalizar la ceremonia la Fanfarria Militar “Alto Perú” ejecutó los 60 Granaderos y luego la marcha San Lorenzo.

HOMENAJE A SAN MARTÍN Y CABRAL EN SAN LORENZO

El 3 de febrero, a 204 años del Combate de San Lorenzo, el conjunto escultórico que recuerda el momento en el que el Sargento Cabral dio su vida por el General San Martín, fue instalado definitivamente en San Lorenzo, Santa Fe. El monumento que retrata uno de los pasajes más importantes de la historia está emplazado en el punto donde confluyen las calles que llevan los nombres de ambos patriotas, frente a la Rotonda de los Trabajadores de la ciudad de San Lorenzo.
La obra es del maestro escultor Fernando Pugliese.

ESCULTURA DE SAN LORENZO

El Regimiento de Granaderos a Caballo expone para todo el público la escultura que retrata uno de los pasajes más importantes de la Batalla de San Lorenzo: el momento en en el que Juan Bautista Cabral da su vida al rescatar al Grl San Martín. La escultura será emplazada en San Lorenzo el próximo 3 de febrero, a 204 años del Combate. Su autor es Fernando Pugliese.

Muestra Escultórico que Recrea la Imagen del Combate de San Lorenzo

El día 06 de septiembre el Regimiento de Granaderos a Caballo “General San Martín”, recibió la visita del Señor Intendente de la Ciudad de San Lorenzo Dr Leonardo RAIMUNDO y del Secretario de Gobierno Dr Iván LUDUEÑA, para observar la obra construida por el Escultor Fernando PUGLIESE.
Esta obra que fue adquirida por la Municipalidad de San Lorenzo para ser emplazada el 3 de Febrero del año próximo en dicha localidad.
Actualmente la obra se encuentra realizando una muestra itinerante con el propósito que se sea conocida por todos los argentinos antes de su emplazamiento definitivo.
La obra es un conjunto escultórico que recrea la imagen del combate de San Lorenzo, en la que el entonces Teniente Coronel San Martín queda bajo su caballo en pleno fragor del combate siendo rescatado por el Granadero Juan Bautista Cabral.
